Final hours

So this is it. We're all climbing into the Rav4 at 5am tomorrow.. which in two hours will be today.. haha.. and then we will be on our way to New Mexico.

Final prep today involved bringing the Rav4 for a car wash.. which to Gramps made perfect sense, but to me, not so much. Why clean it? It's just going to get dirty. It's sandy in New Mexico. Isn't it? Haha.

Final packing was done today. The girls went with Auntie to buy their supplies, and I brought over my ONE BAG, and Grandpa said, "that's it?" I about dropped dead! I want to bring more! Can I bring more?! Oh well.. too late now.. it's all packed.

Planning stages

So here is the very beginning of our adventure across the country to New Mexico for three weeks.

I'm not quite sure what to say yet, except that we are all excited and can't wait to get going.

I think.

We are leaving on July 1st, and we will all (I hope) update this blog to keep everyone informed of our adventures.

Check back every couple of days... hopefully we will find enough WiFi to complete this thing :)
