(well, formerly largest) It was in Oklahoma, and we stopped there. It spanned over the highway.
(picture tomorrow, maybe)
We're making our journey home, and you may not hear from me again until we get there.
We're in Illinois right now, Pennsylvania tomorrow, and home on Saturday.
We miss everyone and can't wait to see you all!

Las Vegas!
Today we decided to take the unplanned trip to Hoover Dam and Las Vegas.
It was a long ride, but completely worth it. We had a Chevy Chase moment at the dam where we pulled over to the side of the road, took pictures and then jumped back in the car hoping the cops around wouldn't care that we stopped where we weren't supposed to.
After that it wasn't long until we pulled in Vegas. We decided to go the the Fashion Show mall, which is a 3 story mall, and while we were there Grammy and Grandpa went to Circus Circus and played a little of the slots. They didn't win, but at least they were in Vegas.
We drove out after dark, so we could see it all lit up. Once we got out of the city I drove us the like 6 hours home. Then at 2am here we went to sleep. But at least it was in the hotel, not the camper.

The Grand Canyon
Today we took our time, go up and had breakfast at the hotel, then went and found out what to do at the Grand Canyon.
We took a shuttle bus in, and then pretty much just walked around the canyon all day. It's huge, and amazing, and pictures have never been able to do it justice. Grandpa and I stood there looking at it and it still didn't look real. It was really just beautiful and amazing. I've decided that I'm going to hike across is someday.. :)
We saw a Condor and listened to a really loud ranger lady talk about Condors. When we took one of the shuttles around to a viewpoint he had to stop because there were elk everywhere.
I don't know about everyone else, but this was defiately one of the best things about the trip for me.

Arizona
Today we packed up and headed for our hotel about 2 miles away from the Grand Canyon.
We passed the Continental Divide.
The road wasn't that long, but we made a stop at the Meteor Crater. If you don't know what that is, it's a big whole in the ground where a meteor hit like 10,000 years ago. :)
After a long day we made it to the middle of no where (aka Grand Canyon, AZ). There is no phone reception here, and the hotels internet is out so you'll be reading this way after the fact.
The hotel is very nice, and we're all happy for the real shower and the beds :)
